FULL NAME: Clay Alan Potter BIRTHDAY: February, 23rd BORN: Garland, Texas PLAYS: Guitar, Vocals, Drums, Bass I have always admired the kind of artist that does it all. My hero’s are the guys that sing well, play well, write great songs, and can really entertain people. I strive to follow in those footsteps. I don't really care too much for Nashville "Major Label made" pop pretty boys. I spend some weekends sitting in with other bands on Drums or Guitar. But there's nothing like playing with your own band! Right now, I've got some of the nicest and most talented people you will ever meet playing for me. I started out playing the drums at the age of thirteen. I played with Randy and Lori in the "family band" and then went on to play in a host of bands all over Texas. Later in life I decided to take on the guitar and start writing songs. This led me to record an album "A New Man Now" and start a band. When we're not on the road you can find me leading worship music at our church Canvas, working as a Licensed Master Electrician for the family business, or just hanging out with my wife Kim and our son Payton at our farm in Nevada, TX.  This guy is a JackAss!!!!! ;void(0)) I play a 1995 Fender Telecaster Deluxe Plus - with Daddario 10's. I have added a H/R 59 "little" humbucker pickup in the middle postition that I rarely use. I play through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 1-12 tube amp. I usually play pretty clean, however I'll add a little Boss DD6 digital delay when I play lead breaks. For a little crunch sometimes I'll add some Jeckle & Hyde overdrive. In a three piece band, there's not a lot of time to be stompin' a bunch of pedals.
