Basel's Pride & Joy

Mr. William Basel Dudley (our light/sound man) has been working on a "way cool" 65 Chevy pick-up that belonged to his dad. He's got it almost completed, and he's been going to lots of car shows. He's won tons of plaques and trophys. If you've got an hour to kill... ask him about his truck at our next show!

The 1st annual Stacie Tutt Memorial Benefit

Thanks to all who worked, played, came and contributed to the first annual Stacie Tutt Memorial Benefit! What a great day of friends, food, music, fun and memories! Awesome bunch of hardworking people put this thing together, and awesome bunch of musicians that performed. We were honored to be a part of it. See you all next year!!!

What's New???

Well we finally got on myspace. Still in the new stages, and we don't know what we're doing there, but it's all the rage! You can click here Clay Potter Band MySpace and check us out. So far "Tom" is our only friend. LOL
p.s. also in the news... we are working on getting our music into itunes, stay tuned for more info.

New Phone Number

Yes, it's true... The old "HEAT" phone number has been changed to 214-325-4430. Tell your friends (or enemys if you prefer) they can call anytime to book the band. We got tired of paying the extra phone bill, and only checked the answering machine about once a week. You can get ahold of us super-fast now at... "That number again is 214-325-4430"

With this years party season in full bloom, we must have had a zillion pictures taken of us so far this year. If you've been fortunate enough to be at a party we played, and snapped a picture or two, send them to us. We'd be happy to post them here on our site. Not all pictures will be accepted of course... sometimes the "what happens at the party - stays at the party" philosophy is the best!
Thanks. Love, Peace & Afro-grease!!

Dee's Birthday at the Lone Star
Thanks to everyone at the Lone Star Cafe. We had such a great time. It was so good to see everyone there, and of course the staff (as always) treated us like royalty! It was such a great night with so many things to celebrate. Dee's Birthday - (we luv ya girl! you just keep getting cooler!!) Cindy & Jessie are back in Texas from Florida - (we've missed you guys!) And too many others to mention. We got to visit and hang out with some old friends, and make lots of new ones. Hope we get to see you all again this time next year!
